Hi, I’m Tami. The Introverted Executive’s Coach
I help introverted, high-capacity leaders become visible, confident, and strategic—without becoming someone they’re not.
You don’t need to change your personality to change your career. You need a visibility strategy that works for you.

You don’t have to change who you are to change your career.
If you’ve ever felt invisible at work, despite being the person everyone depends on:
I know exactly how that feels.
You’re the one they call when the stakes are high and the timeline is short. You bring calm to chaos, clarity to confusion, and results. Always more results, consistently. Your colleagues trust your judgment. Your leaders rely on your execution.
And yet, when it’s time for promotions, your name isn’t on the list.
Instead, you hear: “We don’t know what we’d do without you.”
That praise is a ceiling disguised as a compliment. It means they value you exactly where you are and can’t imagine you anywhere else.
Here’s the truth: your work ethic isn’t the problem. Your performance has never been the problem. The problem is that excellence alone doesn’t create visibility. And without visibility, the people who decide your trajectory see you as indispensable in your current role, but not as the leader you already are.
You shouldn’t have to trade your integrity or your personality to be recognized.
The great news is… you don’t have to.

The moment I realized results alone weren’t enough.
I spent years doing everything “right.” I worked hard, exceeded expectations, and became the person everyone could depend on. I took on the toughest projects, fixed broken processes, and made my leaders look good.
People would say things like, “We couldn’t do this without you.”
And yet, promotion after promotion went to someone else, someone more visible, more connected, more political. I told myself my time would come. Yet, in the back of my mind, I wondered if this was as good as it gets. After all, I had already achieved so much more than I expected when I began my career.
One day, after being passed over yet again, I asked a senior leader why. The answer hit me hard: they didn’t doubt my work. They simply couldn’t see me as a leader beyond my current role. He said, “I wasn’t strategic enough.” The thing is… at that time, I wasn’t in the rooms where strategy and opportunity were being shaped. I wasn’t part of the conversations that influenced the organization’s direction. This was not because I lacked ability, but because I hadn’t made my thinking visible to the people making those decisions.
That realization changed everything.
Once I learned how to be seen for who I truly am, everything changed.
I made a bold decision to leave that organization after a decade of being overlooked. Within months at my new company, I was recognized, promoted, and entrusted with executive responsibilities.
Nothing about my values or work ethic changed.
The difference was strategy. I learned how to communicate my impact in a way that senior leaders understood and respected. I learned how to position myself as a leader, not by performing like someone I wasn’t, but by making my existing strengths visible to the people who needed to see them.
That experience became the foundation for Introverted Executive: A coaching practice built for high-capacity professionals who are ready to stop being the best-kept secret in their organization
The world needs leaders like you.
I once had a colleague who frequently said, “There are show friends and show business, and this is business.”
I felt sick every time he said it. I knew what he meant. He didn’t have anyone’s back. He’d compromise his own values to get ahead. He’d sell out people he cared about to improve his image. In fact the two times I heard him say it most emphatically, he was talking about my best friend and the second time he was talking about another dear colleague we’d know for decades.
You know these people. They’re all around you.
Here’s what I know: it is possible to be far more successful than those types of people will ever be. Because you will succeed with your values and integrity intact. You will not compromise your soul to advance your career. And when people like you step into leadership, workplaces get better teams get stronger, decisions get wiser, and the people around you start to believe that integrity and ambition aren’t polar opposites.
The world needs you to succeed… and I believe you know it. It’s why you are here.
What We Build Together.
Through Introverted Executive, I help high-capacity, introverted professionals build the visibility, confidence, and strategic influence they need to rise, without constant self-promotion, without exhausting networking, and without becoming someone they’re not.
This isn’t about quick hacks. It’s about identity. It’s about helping you evolve into the confident, influential leader your organization needs most.
Discover why you’re overlooked. Together, we’ll uncover the unseen habits and perceptions keeping you invisible, and dismantle them.
Identify your superpowers. We’ll define the specific strengths that make you indispensable and learn how to communicate them clearly to the people who influence your career.
Implement your Visibility Strategy. We execute a step-by-step plan that builds recognition, influence, and authentic leadership presence, at your pace and on your terms.
Your next level doesn’t require you to become someone else.
It requires you to reveal who you already are: the capable, strategic, emotionally intelligent leader your organization needs most.
But I’ll tell you something most coaches won’t: the next promotion is not the finish line.
The real transformation happens when you stop asking “How do I get promoted?” and start asking a bigger question: “What is the impact I truly want make in my life?” When I am talking to my grandkids someday, what do I want my legacy to be? How do I want to be remembered?
That shift changes everything. Because when you see your organization as one powerful platform, but not the entire definition of your capacity… you stop operating from scarcity. You negotiate from strength. You lead with clarity. And you become magnetic exactly where you are. You no longer care about your “title,” because you are curating an impact, an outcome that will ripple across time. You can feel it and that one position everyone is fighting for seems so petty. When you arrive at this mindset, everything shifts.
The best-kept secret in your organization is about to become its most undeniable force. And she’s been taking notes the entire time.

A little more about Tami
30+ years of leading, transforming, and starting over.
I started my career as an enlisted single mom in the Navy—teaching electronics to young Sailors, cramming for college exams at midnight, and learning what I was truly capable of when failure wasn’t an option. I earned my commission through Officer Candidate School, ran by Marine Corps Drill Instructors, where I discovered that every limitation I’d accepted about myself was a belief I could dismantle.
From there, I rose from project management into executive leadership—leading teams of PhDs, engineers, and senior military officers in systems engineering and development. Along the way, I learned firsthand how to navigate visibility, organizational politics, and purpose inside large, complex institutions. All while learning to embrace the true power of my introverted operating system.
Today, I coach professionals who want to make an authentic impact at the highest levels of their careers… and who refuse to sacrifice who they are to get there.
When I’m not coaching or teaching, you’ll find me with a history, philosophy, or psychology book, having deep conversations with friends, or on a long walk with my two Siberian huskies—which clears my mind and keeps my Internal Energy in abundance.
